I am a trial lawyer dedicated to the representation of catastrophically injured individuals and their families in personal injury and wrongful death litigation throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I specialize in complex civil litigation involving:
· Construction Accidents
· Industrial Accidents
· Workplace Accidents
· Tractor-Trailer Accidents
· Brain Injuries
· Burn Injuries
· Medical Malpractice
· Products Liability
· Premises Liability
· Motor Vehicle Accidents
· Longshoremen Accidents
My expertise also extends to the representation of small businesses and construction companies in complex commercial litigation.
Known for a hard-hitting style and uncompromising work ethic, I have recovered millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for my clients, and have been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers - Pennsylvania for 2011 and 2010, and Super Lawyers-New Jersey for 2009 and 2010.
Prior to joining Sheridan & Murray, I was an attorney with a prominent Philadelphia defense firm, specializing in class action and complex civil litigation. While there, I represented corporations and insurance companies in the same types of lawsuits that I now bring on behalf of injured individuals. Prior to entering private practice, I was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Rosemarie Ruggiero Williams of The Superior Court of New Jersey. Clerking at the trial court level provided me with unique and invaluable insight into the judicial system.
I graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Government and History in 1997. At F&M, I was not only a distinguished scholar, but also a member of the varsity football team - a team that won or shared in 3 Centennial Conference championships. I then went on to graduate from the Penn State-Dickinson School of Law with a J.D. in 2000. While in law school, I gained significant litigation experience as a legal intern for a civil trial judge in New Jersey, as a law clerk for a prominent Central Pennsylvania law firm, and as a legal intern in the Environmental Crimes Division of the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office. I also gained significant trial experience while serving as the captain of the Penn State-Dickinson Law National Trial Moot Court Team. In 2003, I continued my education by graduating with honors from the Temple University School of Law with an L.L.M. in Trial Advocacy.
I am admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
