Prior law practice from 1987 to 2004 included business and real estate litigation, jury and non-jury trials and arbitrations.
Also served as court appointed arbitrator in Orange County for more than 200 civil trials.  Later volunteered as Orange County Superior Court mediator for settlement conferences.
