Minette A. Kwok, a Partner with Minami Tamaki LLP, is a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law, designated by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. She has been named a Northern California SuperLawyer for three years in a row now by Law & Politics Magazine, an industry wide poll which identifies the top 5% of attorneys in their field. Ms. Kwok is frequently invited to speak at local, regional and national conferences and panels.Ms. Kwok has participated widely in community affairs. She was Executive Director of Asian Legal Services Outreach in Sacramento, California, Board member of the Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans, and Chair of the Committee for Immigration Justice, an organization promoting fair and inclusive immigration legislation. She currently sits on the Board of the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies at the University of California at Hastings School of Law.
