Edward graduated from high school at Jasper High School in Jasper, Texas. He then went on to Texas A&M University in College Station where he graduated with a B.B.A. in Business Management in 2006. After completing his studies at Texas A&M, Edward attended law school at South Texas College of Law in Houston. While in law school, Edward was a member of the South Texas Law Review. In August 2007, Edward began working with George Wilhite and Keith Lea as a law clerk. In July 2009, Edward graduated from South Texas magna cum laude, and became an associate with Houston Civil Law Firm, Wilhite & Lea, P.C.
