George Wilhite is an experienced Houston personal injury attorney. Since 1989, he has been Board Certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Wilhite has many years of experience in all areas of personal injury with special emphasis on litigating wrongful death cases, complex business disputes and catastrophic injury cases in Houston. George holds the highest AV rating from Martindale Hubbell.
In addition to his skills as an experienced trial attorney, he is a skilled negotiator, mediator and arbitrator. Mr. Wilhite has completed advanced mediation training and operates the Northwest Mediation Center. He has served three years on the Board of the Association of Attorney-Mediators, Houston Group.
George Wilhite was born in Merkle, Texas in 1939 and grew up in Austin, Texas, graduating from Austin High School in 1957. He attended the University of Texas at Austin receiving his degree in Business Administration in 1961 and his Law degree in 1964. He has been in private practice for Civil Law in Houston, Texas, since April of 1964.
Mr. Wilhite has been married to Peggy Jean Wilhite for 51 years and they have two sons. They own and operate Texas W Ranches in Grimes County where they raise Texas Longhorn cattle. He has been a Director of the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association, served as President of the Longhorn Breeders Gulf Coast Association and has served on the Board of Directors of the Gulf Coast Association for 26 of the last 29 years.
