Yasha Heidari is a founding member of Heidari & Plank LLC (H&P). He is well known both for his litigation focus and for his versatility. Prior to forming H&P, Yasha gained a wide breadth of knowledge in all areas of litigation as an associate in an Atlanta law firm with clients throughout the state. Yasha also served as counsel to both small and large companies, including real estate acquisition and development firms, an engineering company, consulting firms, and an IT and e-commerce technology firm. As counsel, he has represented his clients in adversarial proceedings, transactional drafting, commercial negotiations, meetings with governmental authorities, employment disputes, due diligence and a wide array of other legal matters. Additionally, Yasha has experience on both the prosecution and defense side of governmental law. He also previously served as legal counsel to a local state agency, where he was responsible for navigating through administrative law, campaign finance, and ethics laws.

 
Yasha has given lectures and presided over seminars in many areas of the law, including ethics law, best business practices, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and the role of Intellectual Property in the age of digital media. Moreover, Yasha has presented numerous papers with topics ranging from modern day questions concerning technology to complex game-theory models at the London School of Economics.

Yasha holds a juris doctor degree from Emory University School of Law, where he graduated with honors and served as Senior Editor on the Emory International Law Review. A few of Yasha's more notable academic acclamations include receiving the Emory Law Pro Bono Recognition Award and the Center for Humanistic Inquiry Honors Award, as well as being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Sigma Tau, and Pi Sigma Alpha. Yasha received his undergraduate degree from Emory University, where he graduated with high honors and in the top 3% of his class.

Yasha is also fluent in Farsi.
