About Todd Kelly

Todd graduated from the University of Texas, where he was selected to both the Phi Eta Sigma and the Lambda Delta honor societies.  Upon graduation from UT, Todd entered active duty service in the United States Marine Corps, where he was selected to attend law school and serve as a Marine Judge Advocate.

Todd earned his juris doctorate degree from The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University as a member of the Woolsack Honor Society.  While in law school, he was selected as a certified legal intern to the Cumberland County District Attorney’s office.  He also competed on the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America Trial Team, and the Client Counseling Team.  He was as a member of the Trial and Appellate Moot Court Boards of Dickinson, and also served on the law school’s Student Bar Association.

Todd is a member of the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers' Association, and the Fort Bend County Bar Association.  He focuses his practice on personal injury, sexual abuse, toxic tort and medical malpractice cases. 
 
Todd has particular experience representing children injured through birth-related medical negligence and other serious personal injury and wrongful death litigation.

Todd is a member of the Million Dollar Advocate's Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocate's Forum, two National organizations of attorneys who have achieved successful verdicts for their clients.  He is also a member of the Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas, for providing legal services to low-income Texans.  He was selected by H-Houston Magazine as one of Texas' Top 200 "Lawyers for the People" in 2005, and one of Houston's Best Attorneys for both 2007 and 2008.  He serves on the Board of Directors of the
Sean Ashley House, a home for children and adults with Autism and other severe disabilities, and on the Board of Directors of the Jamie Leigh Foundation, an organization founded to benefit the victims of sexual harassment and violence in the workplace at home and abroad.

Todd is a 2009 graduate of Gerry Spence's
Trial Lawyers' College.
