Dana Bissontz, R.N., L.N.C.

Is the founder of Camdan Legal Nurse Consulting and has practical legal experience helping to develop cases for both the plaintiff and defense interests. In her extensive career, she has practiced in the fields of long term care, home health care, correctional nursing, ER, cardiology and cardiac surgery, electrophysiology and currently works as a nurse case manager for workers' compensation claims. She maintains active memberships in: The American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, The American Nurses Association, and the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association.  She is also on the Board of Directors for Crisis Center North, a domestic violence shelter in North Hills, Pa.  In March 2009, Ms. Bissontz obtained certification as a women's business enterprise (WBE) for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh Chapter of the AALNC as a Director at Large.  Ms. Bissontz believes in her commitment to professionalism and absolute integrity in the way she interacts with her clients on each assigned case.

She is currently attending LaRoche College to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and then will move on to get her Master's in Forensic Nursing at Duquesne University.  She hopes to concentrate a majority of her practice working on cases in the Criminal Law field.
