I have consulted on 350+ medical related cases since 1999. Cases include medical malpractice, elder abuse, personal injury, workers compensation, criminal and products liability. I have been deposed 90 times, testified in trial 15 times, arbitration 5 times, mediation once and two Board of Registered Nursing hearings.
I have consulted on multiple high profile cases. I also do Life Care Plans and explain to the jury "A Day in the Life Video" of plaintiffs daily lives.
I am able to prepare deposition questions and suggest trial exhibits. I have a large library of nursing standards manuals that goes back to 1997. These manuals include Joint Commission Hospital Accreditation Standards, American Nurses Association standards and code of ethics, medicare standards for nursing homes, Title 22 standards for both hospital and nursing homes. I also have multiple standards manuals related to nursing in the operating room.
I have consulted on numerous cases that include elder abuse, falls, bedsores, IV injuries related to insertion and medication administration, intramucular or subcutaneous injection injuries and injuries related to the over use of narcotics/sedatives resulting in brain injury or death.
I have been retained by both defense and plaintiff attorney's in 29 different states within the U.S. I have never been disqualified to speak to the standard of care of nursing or respiratory therapy.
I am not an advocate for any case and you can be assured that you will get my most unbiased opinion after reviewing the medical records. I will not take a case for the plaintiff after my initial review if I feel that the standard of care was not breached. I will not take a case for the defense after my initial review if I feel that the standard of care was breached.
