Almost 30 years of experience in complex civil litigation, including trials, appeals, arbitrations and administrative proceedings. Represent clients in matters involving a broad cross-section of federal and state law, including laws relating to fraud, fiduciary duties of corporate and financial institution officers and directors, the purchase and sale of securities, the securities activities of banking organizations, contracts, administrative procedure, and access to government records. Current and recent cases include successful representation of media company in complex AAA arbitration and three week hearing asserting breaches of contract and fiduciary duty; representation of government contractor in USCA review proceeding challenging adverse FAA decision withholding work under contract; litigation risk advice to a major banking organization holding debt securities issued by a bank holding company in bankrutpcy whose subsidiary national bank was in FDIC receivership; representation of failed national bank in OCC investigation of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty; representation of major communications company in state trial court and state Supreme Court proceedings seeking reversal of adverse state administrative decision; and representation of former director, officer and controlling shareholder of a healthy S&L in OTS enforcement proceedings alleging breach of fiduciary duty and fraud.
