About Mitchell Chyette

Mitchell Chyette is an experienced litigation attorney who has been representing people and businesses in courts, arbitrations and mediations for over twenty years. His practice covers such diverse areas as intellectual property, internet, insurance coverage, trade practices/antitrust, real estate, contracts and personal injuries. He has appeared in all of the courts in the Bay Area. Mitch has also been a mediator for business disputes.

Mitch is a 1979 cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, where he was one of the editors of and an author in the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform and received an award for his work in unfair trade practices law.

He is the Chair of the Alameda County Bar Association Section on Trial Practice and he is a member of the Executive Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is a judge pro tem in the Alameda Superior Courts and a panelist on the Bar Association of San Early Settlement Program panel for the Bar Association of San Francisco. He is a member of various sections of the American Bar Association and the State Bar.

Mitch's articles have appeared in the American Bar Association's Dispute Resolution magazine and the California Lawyer.

He has also served on the Boards of Directors for two independent schools in the Bay Area specializing in children with learning differences.
