Rob Epstein is the elected City Attorney of San Rafael, and is Town Attorney of San Anselmo and City Attorney of Belvedere. In his private practice with the firm, Mr. Epstein represents individuals and businesses in a variety of litigation and local land use matters. He has conducted jury trials in the counties of Mendocino, Monterey, Orange, Solano, and Sonoma, as well as Marin.

Mr. Epstein has handled many trusts and estates disputes, including will contests.

Mr. Epstein has successfully mediated numerous cases. He is a member of the mediator panel of the U.S. District Court in San Francisco.

Mr. Epstein also regularly serves as a volunteer judge pro tem for the Marin County Superior Court.

Mr. Epstein is past president of the Richard M. Sangster American Inn of Court (Marin/Sonoma/Napa), past president of the board of Legal Aid of Marin, and past vice president of the board of the Osher Marin Jewish Community Center.
