Gary Redente is an entertainment, intellectual property and business lawyer, focusing on transactional matters. Mr. Redente advises business entities, entertainment companies, and creative talent in film, music, television, literary, theatrical and Internet ventures. Mr. Redente negotiates deals, drafts and interprets contracts, advises clients on the protection and exploitation of intellectual property interests, forms and advises business entities, and resolves disputes. Mr. Redente has represented producers, record labels, filmmakers, internet-based content companies, nightclub owners, screenwriters, actors, film and television production professionals, and Fortune 100 Companies.
Mr. Redente regularly speaks on entertainment and business law topics and has taught CLE seminars for Suffolk University School of Law, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York County Lawyers Association.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Redente spent several years in the music industry touring and recording with several artists. He was also the Founder and President of a corporate business entity in New York City. Mr. Redente graduated from Boston University School of Law.
