If you have been arrested or convicted of a crime, it is possible that you can clear your record by filing for an Expungement. ORS 137.225 allows individuals to set aside convictions for most violations, misdemeanors, and Class C felonies if the required time period has passed, which can be either 3 or 10 years. For an arrest that did not result in a conviction, there is only a one year waiting period.
