My name is Nicole Black and I am an attorney in Rochester, New York. I am of counsel to Fiandach & Fiandach, a Rochester, New York law firm that that is one of the largest and most experienced DWI defense firms in the state.
I also co-authored the legal treatise Criminal Law in New York, a Thomson-West publication, and write a weekly column for The Daily Record called Legal Currents.

Previously, I was as an Assistant Public Defender and a litigation associate at Trevett, Cristo, Salzer, & Andolina P.C. I conducted countless hearings, jury trials, bench trials and depositions. I also handled all aspects of both civil and criminal appeals, from drafting appellate briefs to arguing appeals before the Appellate Division, Fourth Department.
Nicole is an avid blogger. She began blogging in November of 2005 and sees no end in sight. She currently publishes three legal blogs: Sui Generis, a New York Law Blog, Legal Antics and Women Lawyers--Back on Track.
