Attorney Timothy D. Belt is the son of Reverend James Belt and Patricia Belt, and he has primarily resided in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area since 1985. Tim graduated from Lackawanna Trail High School and is a 1996 summa cum laude graduate of the University of the Ozarks . Tim graduated from the Villanova University School of Law in 1999 and shortly thereafter began practicing in the Wilkes-Barre Area. Tim's practice is limited to the representation of victims of automobile and motorcycle accidents, injured workers, and Social Security Disability claimants. Tim spent a period of time representing insurance companies in workers’ compensation matters, thereby providing him with a unique insight into the insurance companies inner workings in such claims. Tim is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the Workers' Compensation Sections of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association. Tim is licensed to practice law before all Courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania , as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Tim has been a frequent speaker at seminars on the topics of Workers' Compensation and the FMLA.
