I practice in the areas of commercial construction litigation including mechanics' lien and Miller Act bond claim enforcement, commercial litigation, business torts, and trademark and copyright. I am a member of the Gaston County (President, 2007-2008), North Carolina (Construction Law, Business Law, and Litigation Sections), and American Bar Associations. I was the Chief Editor of Change Order, the North Carolina Bar Association Construction Law Section's publication from 2006-2007. In addition, I currently serve on the North Carolina Bar Association Construction Law Section Council. I wrote Attorneys' Fees in Lien and Bond Cases (Change Order Vol. 19, No. 3 2005), and co-authored Accidents and Course of Employment (2003 Wake Forest University School of Law Continuing Legal Education). I am admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and to practice before the the U.S. District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of North Carolina. I am also a member of the National Association of Credit Managers.
