Background Before joining the Cohen & Feeley, P.C. law firm, Mr. Margolis spent 13 years as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Essex County, New Jersey. The ECPO is the third largest prosecutor’s office in the country, with over 140 attorneys. In January of 2009, after 3 days of trial, he settled an industrial accident claim for in excess of $1 Million Dollars. Prior to that, he obtained a medical malpractice verdict for a failure to diagnose cancer in the amount of $3.973 Million Dollars has a prior verdict in a similar medical malpractice for $1.5 Million Dollars. He also settled another failure to diagnose cancer case prior to that for $2.2 Million Dollars. You can view a list of Mr. Margolis’ recent cases and those of his partners on his firm’s website.
