As an associate at Jenkins, Wilson, Taylor & Hunt, P.A., I provide experience with respect to patent preparation and prosecution before both the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and foreign patent offices. I also have experience in patent litigation, patentability, freedom-to-operate, and invalidity opinion work, and trademark and copyright counseling.

I earned my B.S.E. degree from Duke University in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, magna cum laude, and I went back to Duke's School of Law for my J.D. degree. Prior to attending law school I worked as a mechanical engineer for an engineering consulting firm, where I gained experience in structural load analyses, testing of machine component operability, finite element analyses, and preparation of calculations to support other engineering analyses.
