1. SCOPE OF PRACTICE:
We do child custody and support cases. Scads of them. This is probably the only practice in Southern California with expertise in custody and support disputes in divorce cases, and in paternity cases, and in DCSS support enforcement cases, and in dependency ("Children's Court") cases, and in domestic violence cases, and in guardianship cases.
2. PHILOSOPHY:
Our philosophy is simple:
#1: Our clients’ primary obligation is to protect and to promote their children’s rights and interests, no matter what, no excuses.
#2: Our primary obligation is to support and to assist our clients in doing exactly that.
#3: And to continue being very good at it.
3. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Dean Schreyer graduated from Hastings College of Law (University of California at San Francisco), in 1986. He passed the California Bar Examination a few months later, and has been practicing in California ever since.
His experience also includes appointments by the Superior Court to serve as:
- a Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore, hearing family law and small claims appeals cases;
- a Family Law Court mediator; and,
- a Dependency ("Children's Court") Panel Attorney and Minor’s Counsel.
