David George Hasselback, attorney at law, received his Juris Doctor from Capital University in 1985.  In addition he holds a Master of Arts from Pepperdine University (1978); a Master of Public Affairs from North Carolina State (1971) and his B.A., is from Washington & Jefferson College (1965) in Washington Pa.

Attorney Hasselback was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1985.  He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio.  Attorney Hasselback also serves as a Guardian Ad Litem for Delaware, Union and Licking County Domestic Relations Courts. In addition, he serves as an Independent Hearing Officer for the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and the Ohio Bureau For The Visually impaired.  He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.

Attorney Hasselback was engaged in the private practice of law on a part time basis from 1985 to 1991.  He has been in the full time practice of law since January 1992.  He and his wife, Attorney Anna Bates, maintain their true "family" practice in Westerville, Ohio.  The areas in which he practices include personal bankruptcy, probate, domestic relations, real estate, collections, consumer law, personal injury, some criminal and civil litigation (trial) work.

Attorney Hasselback previously taught evening courses for the American Institute for Paralegal Studies at Ohio Dominican College.  He instructed students seeking their certification as a paralegal in such subjects as Estates & Trusts, Family Law, Litigation and Tort Law.  He has been designated the "Instructor of the Year" four times.

Prior to entering the full time practice of law Attorney Hasselback was employed (13 years) by the Federal Government at the Defense Construction Supply Center, Columbus, Ohio.  Other previous employment included a management position with the Consolidated Rail Corporation and service as a commissioned officer, U.S. Army.  Attorney Hasselback ended his military service (37 years) after serving in the regular army (13 years) and then with the Ohio Army National Guard reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  He was awarded the Combat Infantryman's badge and other decorations having served in numerous assignments including Special Forces, Airborne and Ranger units in Europe, the United States, Vietnam and Thailand.
