A graduate of the Detroit College of Law in 1995, I am an experienced litigator, negotiator and appellate counselor. My skills and knowledge have consistently obtained favorable results for clients both at the bargaining table and in the courtroom. I specialize in medical malpractice defense, and civil rights defense litigation with a particular focus concerning the delivery of prison health care to prisoners in county jails and state prisons. I am also experienced in complex corporate and business issues, with a particular interest in corporate and employment litigation. Having represented clients in state, federal, bankruptcy, and appellate courts in Michigan, I have more than a dozen published cases to my credit. My experience in the State, Federal, and Appellate courts makes me a talented negotiator and advisor not just in medical related litigation, but in other commercial venues as well, from business formation to corporate counseling and litigation.
