Ryan Berry - Attorney Profile
Ryan Berry is an associate in the Cooley Godward Kronish Litigation department and is resident in the Reston, Virginia office.
Mr. Berry practices in the areas of national security, government contracts, and complex commercial litigation. He has experience in the defense industry both as a management consultant for a major defense contractor and as an acquisitions program manager for the United States Air Force.
Mr. Berry received a J.D. from the Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2004. While at Washington & Lee, Mr. Berry was Editor-in-Chief of the Environmental Law News (a publication of the Virginia State Bar), Executive Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy's 2004 Symposium Edition, and President of W&L's Federalist Society chapter.
Mr. Berry received a B.S. from the United States Military Academy (West Point) in 1996, and served for five years as an active-duty Air Force officer. While assigned to Electronic Systems Command (ESC), he managed the Air Force's acquisition of campus- and enterprise-wide IT systems. While working at ESC, Mr. Berry also earned a Graduate Certificate in Technical Program Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He remains an officer in the Air Force Reserve.
